Printed Textiles

Cotton fabric is prepared for natural dyes and screen printed with metal salts. The metal salts react with the natural dyes to create multiple colors on one cloth using single color natural dyes. Designs can be repeated for small amounts of yardage, or as single prints for bandanas, pillow cases, and table settings.

Arielle also used cyanotype with cut paper masks and stamps to create her patterns.
